I used to know a family in Roann named Hoffman..Ralph Hoffman the father was
a traveling Church of the Brethren minister and a farmer. They have/had a
couple sons and a daughter or two...John and/or Paul that may still be in
that area ?? they may have heard of the people or have some information ??
You could find the sons through
COB.org the Church of the Brethren
ebsite[ check Cyndi's list for a better url.] perhaps if no otherway.
Just an idea

Dear Mr. Kemper: Maybe you can help me find where Amzie or Amzi Morehouse
is buried. He was born in New York in November 1851. He later went to
Roann,
Indiana and married Edith or Ethel Clavel Morehouse. She died in
1898, in
Roann, Indiana. I think the month's might have been November or December
1898, shortly after her last son Edward Emmett Morehouse was born. Do you
have a list of cemeteries in Roann, with a listing of persons buried there.
Amzi was listed in the censurs in Roann, along with his 4 childred, but not
his wife's name. I think those censurs were for 1899.
Any information about Amzi and his wife would be most appreciated. We
were told for sure that Edith or Ethel Clavel Morehouse is buried in Roann.
Thank you and Sincerely,
Leonore Lanzillotti
