Hey Chris!
I am not familiar with the Magellans, I have a Garmin, but I would imagine they are very
similar.
They make exploring so much easier! I would suggest getting a good map package for your PC
if you do not already have one. I use TopoUSA by DeLorme, and love it. It shows the
locations of graveyards, and when you put the crosshair-like cursor over one, it gives you
the exact coordinates to enter into your GPS. My GPS actually connects to my PC and this
software supports downloading waypoint and route information straight into the unit,
making it really easy! I normally just scroll around in the map program and line up maybe
five or six cemeteries within proximity to each other, print the maps and enter the
waypoints and I am off. I have found some sites with the GPS that there is no humanly
possible way I could have found them without someone leading me by the hand to them, it is
a wonderful tool.
Where is Vanderburgh county located? North or south?
