Kyle,
I donn't know what the change in ownership does. Before, it was a
Fraternal or Benelovent organization that owned them (IOOF). This is a
private individual that has purchased them, and I would think that he has
to incorporate as a business. At least it would be a "new" cemetery under
the legal definitions of ownership now that it has went from a non-profit
or not-for-profit status to a private business? I still think he has to
ante up the perpetual fund to comply with the "sale of a cemetery"
laws. I am going to write some legislators to see if I can get this
sorted out.

Weren't these cemeteries organized before June 30, 1997? Change in ownership
does not necessarily negate it's organization, does it? Don't get me wrong,
I'm not justifying the actions of the new owner. I just read the law to mean
"new" cemeteries.
