Jack,
Well the bad news is, I am back to working a 24 hour shift at the fire
department, so there will be some days that I will not be home to check my
e-mail. But the good news is, I have more days off now and that will give
me more time to work on cemeteries. You are right, this list is very
informative, and I save a lot of e-mails for future reference. We can sit
around while the snow flies and discuss things, then when better weather
comes, we can get out and put what we learned to good use.
I work tomorrow, and will miss family, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie,
but I think we are going to deep fry a turkey at the firehouse.

Following I was doing, the List appeared to be running out of Steam. Well,
that's not true now. Since the 21st 0f Nov. Approximately 85 E-mail have bee
sent on the List. This is wonderful. As Catherine Dill said, it has been a
wonderful Exchange of information. But remember, because we are repairing
stones and beginning to get cemetery commissions, we by no means are
finished. WE need to keep the exchanges going. If we don't talk we can't
learn. If you have an idea don't think it is not worth disscusing, it is. If
you get to many E-mail, pick out the ones you want and delete the rest. I put
a lot of mine in my AOL Filing cabinet and read them when I can. I belong to
a couple of other Lists. This one is by far the most informative of all.
There are some real dedicated people involved here. Please don't stop. Have a
safe weekend, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all
