Hello;
I am new to this board and see there is another Sheila, so to clarify I
am the one from Indianapolis. My goal for the year is to try and get all the
information I can on a Cemetery in Jennings County, that is going down hill
fast. It is in the little town (no longer an actual town) of Paris. This
Cemetery has been sold quite a few times and the latest owner will not allow
anyone
on the property, I do have a few pictures but not much, there are a number
of transcriptions from earlier times but since it has been on private property
for years access has been very limited.
Unfortunately at the moment as I am the Jennings County Indiana INGenWeb
coordinator I am very involved with the move of nearly every Indiana County
from the Rootsweb/Ancestry server. Ancestry has decided to take over Rootsweb
completely and we are afraid it will make the GenWeb sites part of their "for
profit" network. Moving each counties site is the job the County Coordinator
so we are all involved in going to a
INGenWeb.org site completely separate
from Ancestry. Hopefully all will be done by the beginning of next week.
I will be asking for suggestions and assistance as to what to do about
the Cave/Dixon Cemetery after the Web Site move is complete. I am very
interested in your activities and want to learn all I can.
Thank You
Sheila Kell

I agree Sheila its a good time to go read and photograph before the trees
and ground growth begins.
It sure has been a nice few days around Lafayette.
Get the wooded areas visited too.
So surely someone has some goals to share this year.......
