I could be wrong but I thought according to Law the Commissioners must
take the minutes of the meeting. Indiana law requires you to give the
recording Secretary a reasonable time to transcribe them, and then you may
ask for a copy. They come under the open meeting Law. It is a Public meeting.
Also You can take a recorder to a meeting if you go again, sit on the front
row, and if you do not cause a disruption with the recorder there is nothing
they can do about it. I certainly would ask for the Minutes from your last
meeting. It should contain what was discussed. I have asked for the Minutes
of a meeting of Public officials and been handed a copy.
There is probably someone on the List who knows more then I, and can
advise you. But I know They must keep a Record of the entire meeting as to
what is discussed.
They must have a Record of what is said. Just a thought,
