While you're at it, I seem to recall back a couple of months ago
when
there was a posting to this list about the desecration of Hays cemetery.
I also recall a conversation where the sheriff's office related that they
did not like to patrol out there.
Sandy, I have been watching the situation at the Hays Cemetery, I can't
believe the Sheriffs Dept is selective about the areas they "Don't like to
Patrol" I assumed the entire county, Even "Cemeteries with Partying" came
under the same protection as any other part of the county. In our area there
would be heavy Patrolling there just because it was a cemetery. Partying in
Southern Indiana in our area, especially that kind only takes place on
Private Property. There they seem to have notified all of the "Partygoers" to
Enjoy, and have a good time. Our County and City parks only allow Family type
Parties. And there are, so far no Cemetery Parties. This is a good reason to
put the Sheriff that made that statement under the Microscope and see what is
wrong. His idea must be "it's only an old Cemetery". we have nice ones to
watch. OLD or NEW, they all command the same attention !! I don't live there,
so all I can do is voice my OPINION
