Hello again,
I was so excited over the good coverage that I failed to mention that there
is a full color photo on the front page, captioned "A Cemetery No More", of
the 10th tee at Eagle Valley golf course where St. Patrick's cemetery once
was.
Ihe articles, pictures and maps take up most of the front page, and all of
page 16.

Hello All,
There are three very good articles in today's (Feb 20) Sunday paper, one on
the front page, "Old Cemeteries Often Disappear" by staff writer Herb
Marynell <hmarynel(a)evansville.net> and two more on page 16, "Hoosier
Ancestors have a Voice in Lois Mauk", and "Wesselman Park area has rich
legacy of Pioneer past" by Herb also. The front page article includes
maps, and page 16 has a picture of the parking lot at the old jail where
Evansville's first cemetery once was.
I have not found them on-line yet, the website address is:

I will keep you posted if it shows up later. Lois, I will save you a copy.
