Our nation needs a good laugh now and then. You really haven't experienced
the full restoration experience until you DO have the police called out on
you, like I have.
The "Gladys Cravitts" neighbor lady to the cemetery called the police on
me for "grave robbing" back in the 1980's. When the police arrived I told
them I had permission from the caretaker and hoped they were there sign up
to volunteer. I told them about the preservation process I was restoring my
1812 ancestors gravesite. In short order the police disappeared after
suggesting he and the lady who reported me to volunteer.
It always helps to get permission first if you go hiding under a blanket in
a cemetery. If so bring along sign up sheets for volunteers. I would like to
see a picture of these "under the blanket" black light specials. Any one
have any?

That is good for a headline and a laugh nationwide!
