Christine,
Why don't you print Lois' missive about the Adams Cemetery? If your county
doesn't believe it's "necessary" to have a cemetery board, perhaps this
would educate them to the pitfalls of NOT having one...

Dear Christine:
I can't be there Monday in Columbus, but I'd be happy to write a short
letter
for you and send it to you as a PDF attachment in a private e-mail.
You
can
print it out and hand it to them.
Is there anything in particular you would like me to mention in the
letter?
Lois

It
appears they don't believe it is necessary. Seems like they
could have
contacted me (since I'm even in the same building every day with them and
they
all know who I am and what I do) and checked to see what I thought
about
it.
I contacted a local reporter who interviewed me on my lunch hour
today and
plans to put an article on our county cemeteries and the agenda of the
commissioners in Sunday's paper.

with
boards already, or anyone who is versed well in the law, (Lois,
Jeannie,
Jack,
...?) should happen to be near Columbus Monday, the Commissioners
hold
their
meetings at 10:00 am in the GOB at Franklin & 3rd street. You
can call me
at
work as well, 812-379-1525.

can
tell
us something we didn't already know about the location of some of
our
"lost"
cemeteries, it is worth it.
