Contact your county health department health inspector. They are responsible
for any remains such as bones being exposed in a burial grounds.
We had that issue come up a couple of years ago with bones found in a
cemetery. Ground hogs were responsible in that case.
Tell them you are not sure if any are exposed or not. They are required to
examine the site.

Recently I went with 2 friends to an old cemetery in the woods. To
my
disgust I found very, very deep holes near each stone and many stone that
up
and disapered, but where the stones had disapeared were large holes
in the
ground. I came to the onclusion that maybe a mystery someone had buried
the
stones. Anyways my friends and I think this cemetery has been a
vicitm of
grave robbers this summer. Our county police officers don't seem to be
interested. Can anyone tell me what to do to get our police officers
interested or to get something done about this? Thank you.
