The American Legion and the VFW have been very active in Morgan County
helping us clear cemeteries, and they help fund other cemetery projects.

HA! HA! "Dead veterans don't pay dues, so consequently we
are not
concerned
about them!"
At least that was the statement made by the head of "one" of these local
organizations when asked to back up our local cemetery commission last
year.
Shows you where their heart really is. If they're not playing
bingo or
drinking they not concerned with them.
Jon Andrews
P.S. I'm not bashing these organizations. Just stating their comments, but
when is the last time you saw the American Legion or VFW concerned about
anything in a cemetery except putting up flags for Memorial Day?
