The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War has an online database that is
being added to every day by volunteers. Check _www.suvcw.org_
(
http://www.suvcw.org) and find the graves registration project. Otherwise some Indiana
counties had an index created by the WPA of all veterans buried in that county.
I think only 1/3 or 2/3 of all counties were completed. Those indexes can
be found at various libraries around the state.

Is there a database for Civil War Veterans burial locations in Indiana? I
have requested my GGGrandfather's site be marked with a flag at Memorial Day
but no one could direct me to a listing. I have an unmarked site next to a
family plot that is always marked with a flag but again, no one seems to know
who it is.
Thanks
