Indiana Rootweb Members,
I'd be glad to work with any of you to help you get into the SAR or DAR.
I personally have seen it take 6 months or more to get a Military Stone.
So
if you want to plan anytype of Memorial service with the DAR or SAR
involved it's best to get it ordered first. The local chapters of both
organizations can probably help with the ordering of the stone.

Quote from William Gladstone (1809-1897), three-time Prime Minister of
England
and Victorian contemporary of Benjamin Disraeli:
"Show me the manner in which a nation or community
cares for its dead and I will measure with mathematical
exactness the tender mercies of its people, their
respect for the laws of the land, and their loyalty
to high ideals."
