I'm really sorry to have to post this about Carson cemetery. It is in fact
in the middle of a stand of woods in a pasture, on private property. It is
almost completely destroyed with only 2 stones left standing and 9 total
that are readable. Carson is unseen from any road. I talked to the owner,
(he's close to 80 with both hips and knees replaced), of the property who
gave me permission to go into the cemetery.
The owners father bought the land and cemetery and did put a fence up around
the cemetery but the fence is now gone. The present owner, because of age
and medical problems can no longer keep the cemetery in good condition and
cattle do roam through the cemetery. The following are what are left of the
stones.

I've uploaded the photos to Find-A-Grave. Carson cemetery main page is at
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=1960319&CSc... I
give that link because I have 2 cemetery wide photos pending approval from
the Find-A-Grave admins. That takes a couple of days so check back into it.
From that page click the "View all interments" link and it
will take you to
a listing of interments. The names with a little headstone graphic
next to
them have a picture of the headstone. Just click on the name to go to the
picture. I didn't add the names, just the stone pictures. A lot of the names
are duplicated and a few months ago I requested that the dupes be removed.
Sorry I couldn't be more help here and have to let you know the condition of
Carson. I know it's heartbreaking if you have family here.
