Hi, Bev:
This is great news----Tho I am not related to the Peckinpaughs, I
remember well . the name having lived at Cape Sandy in the 40's" and had
helped Dave with his geneology from Califoriia when he was just starting:
thanks to a friend of mine, Doris Leistner, who had published it in the old
Crawford co Democrat back in the 70's and I made a scrapbook out of her
columns.
I appreciate all the hard work associated with this project and have done
my share of work on several Shoemaker Cemetaries, some of them in Perry co
hadnt been cleaned in 50 years. Some so well hidden, Im sure that was a
proctectant to them. Most people are just ignortant of the fact, that
we should cherish our ancestors, and when it is brought to their
attention-they respond.
I will be "HOME" in Indiana at that time, maybe Ill take a run down
and meet you, Nadine Shoemaker Arnold in Florida.
