That's a great way to raise awareness and funds.? We have so many of the old stones
that have sunk down & all that is visible is the upper third or just the very top.?
I've been photographing stones & trying to make a spreadsheet of the names, etc.?
Since I started a few years ago, some of the stones have toppled or are beginning to
tilt.

Subject: Re: [INPCRP] FUNDING FOR RESTORATION
We started out just cleaning and straightening the stones in a small
cemetery and taking on the expense ourselves. We photographed some of the
stones that needed further attention. We then presented some programs about
what we wanted to do to local organizations - Lions club, American Legion,
and the county genealogical society. Each gave us a nice donation which
paid for further supplies and equipment we needed. The particular cemetery
was connected to a local church denomination, so we were considering a
program for them if needed.
