Wouldn't it be great, if we could add info to a similar site about
cemeteries we have worked at or know something about that cemetery that
others looking for information could use? Even have a link to more
information about it.
Next time you're on the cemeteries list, click on FALL CREEK in MARION
COUNTY. This is an unusual group of 3 separate cemeteries in one large
piece of land. Sutherland Park, with the looped road is the newest cemetery
and is still accepting 1,000 burials a year. The tree line to the east of
the loop is Fall Creek, which is behind the church and to the north of the
last tree line is the 1836 Ebenezer Lutheran.
John Walters, over 2 and a half years repaired, leveled and cleaned most of
them. When he started there were 970 visible stones, and when he finished,
the count rose to 1,057. That is saving history. A web site was created
with church records and a large reading, with spouse's names. Check it out.

I don't think that the counties are wrong. The cemetery listed is in the
county stated, but there is also a cemetery by the same name in the county
you are looking for. Just off the top of my head, I think every county has
a Mt. Pleasant Cemetery and a Brown Cemetery. Of course, the most common
name is Unknown or Unnamed; that's where a cemetery had been found, but no
name can be attached to it.

Sheila, the link to Indiana cemeteries is below. At first I thought
it
great because a map is provided at the bottom of each page but the problem
is that all cemeteries are not on it and some of the counties are wrong.
So
it's not such a great list after all. A nice feature, when you get to the
map, if you click on hybrid it changes over to an aerial view, and
clicking
on the plus sign it zooms in and in a lot of cases you can see the
headstones. BUT, it needs a lot of work to be reliable. Bob
