The easiest way would be to contact the trustee and ask him/her. Check with
the public library and the historical society. Between the three, someone
will know who is in charge of the cemetery.

Greetings,
I have been a member of this list for 3 or 4 years now, but have not
posted much. I am trying to locate information about a cemetery in Pike
County Indiana. The cemetery name is Lewis Cemetery, located in Clay
Township about 2 Miles N.E. of Union near Hwy 65. From all that I have
found so far, it is a very small cemetery with only a few stones still
standing. I am trying to determine who owns the cemetery or if the
cemetery is under the care of the Township Trustee.
