Thanks Frankie, I'll wait to hear back on this one. I think this is an area
we will pursue as it can help educate everyone on the type of limestone used
and the of effort they went to on completing these works of art. Hope it
will help the cause in trying to save them.
And, Dale, I realize the cemetery should still be there. But if someone
cleared it and put up a building, or subdivision, etc. and left the
tombstones in a ditch, then shouldn't they be rescued and saved somewhere?
Sure can't put it back the way it was. Just looking for others thoughts.
Randy, On John Walters at the Connersville local cable program talking about
cemeteries & cemetery repair...etc.
Did anyone tape this? It would be a great help to be able to show this to
all the new people just starting.
We had over 40 people come on the 20th to learn how to clean stones. And
they want to know more. ;-) Especially how to repair them. While I hope
to show this soon. It would be nice to buy a tape and share this with
people and just review it myself. Wonder if the cable company could do
something with this?
Thanks everyone,
