I've uploaded 20 pictures I took Monday afternoon at the reinternment ceremony
for Rev. War veteran Luther Adams, his son David Adams and David's wife,
Hester Ann.
I haven't had a chance to incorporate these pictures into a webpage yet or to
add any narrative explanations, but if you're interested in them, you can find
them at:

I'm particularly pleased with #11
http://www.rootsweb.com/~inpcrp/pictures/Image011.jpg
as it shows 12 of Luther Adams' descendants, each representing one of Luther's
grandchildren (children of David and Hester Ann). The older gentleman on the
right is Judge Hugh Dillin, the sitting U.S. Federal Court Judge who tried to
stop the disinternment of his ancestors buried at Wilhoit Cemetery back in
1998.
Several weeks ago (almost 2 years after he requested the remains so they could
be reinterred at Shiloh Cemetery), they were given to him for reburial.
If you want to save a copy of any of these pictures to your hard drive, just
right click on it and choose "Save Image" or "Save Picture". Then
give it a
name on your hard drive.
I'll get a report out to you tomorrow about the ceremony at Shiloh Cemetery.
It's late; I'm tired; and I'm headed to bed.
My thanks to Delbert Himsel for inviting me. Jackie Boles of Sullivan Co. was
there with her family. Bill Shaw from the Indianapolis Star was also there.
I estimate (VERY roughly) that there were more than 100 people at Shiloh
Cemetery this afternoon.
