Carole,
Thank you for the work you and the students are doing with the Clark-Lynam
Cemetery at Indian Creek.
There are several persons on this list who have a great deal of experience
restoring cemeteries. You might describe some of the items that need to be
accomplished in the cemetery on this list. I feel confident that someone
will be able to give you some really great suggestions/instructions. You
might want to take a look at
<
http://www.rootsweb.com/~inpcrp/#Information%20Resources>, also.
Concerning the history of the cemetery, you have a real, live, walking and
talking history book in Trafalgar; Ivan Lancaster. I believe he would be
able to provide you with information concerning the cemetery. Noel Baker,
of Franklin, would be another good source. Also, the Johnson County Library
and the library at the Johnson County Museum, if the construction at the
museum has progressed to the point that the library is open, would be a
couple of other sources for information.
Again, thank you.

| I am working with a group of Indian Creek High School students that
| replaced a fence around the Clark-Lyman Cemetery at the school. I
| can not find out any information on this cemetery and we would like
| for the students to work on keeping up this cemetery but we need
| information on how to start and the correct way to do this.
| Thank you for any help and information you can give us.
