I have not been there yet, so I cannot confirm the condition, but that is
the correct location. Sounds like its in really bad condition.

Stout
Sec 10 T11N R1W
Totally overgrown, stones down and broken. Trees down in cemetery. Has a
fence, needs a sign. A good scout cleanup project. Trustee (Jim
Lankford) knows about the cemetery, has mowed it in the past but not this
year.
Deed Book 30 Page 356, 12 Apr 1871, establishes cemetery. Cemetery is
public
Don't you love how there are multiple cemeteries in the same counties?
Is this it?
Helen
That is a different Stout Cemetery. The directions I was given my
the
new land owners also differ from these directions.
STOUT S10 T11N R1W

>From SR67, go north on Buffalo Rd./CR450W about 500 feet to a farm on

right. Obtain permission to take the farm lane 0.2 mile east to a path
on the right leading to the cemetery, which is overlooking SR67.

Cemetery Visits Aug 1999 - April 2001
Stout Cemetery
Section 23 T13N R1W
Small family cemetery (8 rods by 5 rods) beside Briarhopper Road. May
be maintained by neighbor, 17 Briarhopper Road. Well cared for; trees
were recently removed. Has a nice fence; needs a sign. Could use
probing.
Listed as cemetery in auditor records. Deed Book 30 Page 356, 12 April

Indiana Cemetery Survey Forms Morgan County, prepared by Tom Bowen for
the Indiana Genealogical Society's cemetery survey project and available
at Morgan County Public Library, gives detailed directions for finding
each of these cemeteries, as well as other information.
