DEAR L.A. AND EVERYONE ELSE:
RIGHT NOW MY CREW IS DOWN TO TWO PEOPLE SO WE WORK MORE.
WE WERE OUT ON MONDAY LOOKING OVER A NEW CEMETERY TO WORK ON AND FINISH UP
WHERE WE WERE EARLIER IN THE WEEK.
WE ARE STILL RE-REPAIRING STONES IN CEMETERIES THAT WE HAD ALREADY FIN
ISHED. IT TAKES LONGER WHEN THIS IS THE 3-4 TIME A STONE IS DOWN.
I REALLY THINK THE LARGE MOWERS ARE AT FAULT. YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL WHAT
YOU SAY TO THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE. YOU CAN SUGGEST THE MOWERS BE MORE
CAREFUL.
ANYWAY, GOOD TO GET OUT IN THE FRESH AIR.
HAVE A HAPPY....

Subject: [INPCRP] Memorial Day events & what's happening?
Greetings everyone,
I know you are all busy working and moving along with their current
projects.
I would like to hear what you folks did this past weekend. I think it
can help
the new folks on the list and always help others expand what they are
doing too.
The beginners workshop we be next weekend and we always have new folks
joining
the list after that. So think about this and post a bit of what your
doing soon.
It's so nice to see the cemeteries this time of year. I also know
some of you
have been struggling with the care takers that still need education on
mowing
and maintaining. It's a hard issue, but one I hope you all keep up
with. Our presents
in each county is important to each township. Trustees, caretakers
change and
so do the mowers, every year. No township or County is exempt to these
changes and we all certainly have the tough guys/gals who really don't
give a hoot. All topics to share on the list. Again, we all benefit
from hearing
how it worked or didn't work. Every County had frustrating issues to
deal with.
I hope I haven't scared everyone off the list with their opinions. It
wasn't my intention,
just asking we all show some respect with our words.
We had several nice articles on Memorial Day this weekend. Some on the
caretakers
in this county and several on event. So how was yours?
L.A. ~Tippecanoe Co.
This list is for sharing pioneer cemetery questions, ideas and restoration
projects.
