Thanks Angela for getting in touch with Rep. Tom Saunders. It looks as if
we could amend the language in the committee hearings, and we would be able
to testify" signals we have a lot of work to do when the moment arrives.
Since I am a state worker at my day time job it would be better if someone
other than myself shows up from Delaware County.I'll see if Cindy Welch is
available.
Keep in mind State Rep. Tiny Adams wants to know if at any given moment we
want to nix the whole thing to let him know.

Hello everybody,
I talked with Rep. Tom Saunders Monday and he has submitted the same
language as last year for H.B. 1441. I asked him if the "Artifact Bill" was
attached to ours and he was vague and didn't answer my question. I went
ahead and told him why we did not approve of the bill as it was a conflict
of interest to us. (Our bill gives us more support in restoring cemeteries
while the artifact bill HB 1097 does the opposite) He said we could amend
the language in the committee hearings, and we would be able to testify. He
would let me know when those would be. He was going to ask Rep. Tiny Adams
to co-author the bill again.
Theresa: Have you heard from Rep. Pierce or Cheryl Munson?
Merry Christmas!
