We have just sent out letters from the Parke County Commisioners notifying
people of their
appointment to the new Cemetery Commision. What I need from the list is
some ideas of just what a cemetery commision is cabable of. What are the
limits etc. I know there are established commisions elsewhere in the state,
and what I am hoping to do is learn from their experience and find a
pattern to develope ours.
Thanks in advance.

Chapter 68 relates to care of Cemeteries by Townships.
Anyone wishing to seek the assistance of the Twp. Trustee, I recomend you go
to your local library and read this chapter. If property taxes are paid on
the land the cemetery lies in the Trustee can't help you. (Sorry about the
length)
