L.A. Clugh <CLUGH_LA(a)email.msn.com> is having trouble posting
this notice to
the group, so she asked me to forward this message about an upcoming Cemetery
Workshop in Lafayette on Saturday, April 28th.
-----------
Dear Group,
Well we are finally making progress on our end, so it's time to share the
date.
SATURDAY, APRIL 28TH. Everyone is welcome.
The Tippecanoe County Cemetery Preservation Group in conjunction with the
Wea Township Trustee is sponsoring a one-day Restoration Workshop in
Lafayette, Indiana, on Saturday, April 28, 2001, registration cost is $20
per person, which includes a sandwich lunch. Web page will be sent soon to
Lois.
It is my hope to gain support here by setting this up, and recruit some of
our youth groups and history teachers. We are new as of last May.
John Walters, Jack Briles and Lois have agreed to help share their
expertise.
Jeannie Ragan-Dimius from the DNR has agreed to share the new database process
with us.
Also, I feel we really need to just have a roundtable with people standing up
from each county and sharing major concerns. There are so many angles to
all of this.
Anyone cares to share any ideas they may have for this workshop? I'm
listening.
I have enjoyed the last three around the state. And feel we could all help
in continuing to make these better and better.
