This is unfortunate because it re-establishes a precedent that the highway
may cite in future cases...perhaps even along the same highway system where
other pioneer cemeteries are located along its vast length.

Well, Walt, this just goes to show that if you speak to a reporter they
don't get the information correct and if you don't speak to them, they
still
don't get the information correct. Thanks for the clarification.
As a kid I remember passing by this cemetery every time we went to visit
my
grandparents in the New Castle area. It's sad to see another pioneer
cemetery go to the wayside.

decision to not be involved in this project. I am about saving old

The reporter did leave a message on my phone, but I did not talk to her.

will be contacting her today, to ask for a retraction of the statement in
the article.
Even though I know they will get this cemetery moved, I will in no way
help or support this decision.
