Hello the list,
I have received several e-mails in recent weeks requesting updated information on the
Granville Cemetery site here in Tippecanoe County. As some of you will recall, this is
one of the several DNR prairie grass preserves found around the state. I photographed the
damaged cemetery this Spring and placed the photos online:

Unfortunately, I misplaced the e-mail addresses of those who were interested in receiving
updates when I migrated e-mail messages to my new computer system last month. I thought
I'd go ahead and post again here in an effort to reopen these communications. If you
are one of the folks who wrote me this summer, please contact me again directly
rgreen(a)insightbb.com and I'll try to keep you posted as promised.
I am a bit embarrassed to say that I simply have not had time to follow up on this as
originally intended. As far as I know, with the exception of an attempt to trap the
woodchucks responsible for undermining grave stones and unearthing human remains, there
has been no other action taken and the site remains in the same condition otherwise. It
may be that there has been planning for the future preservation of this cemetery, but for
the moment I'm not sure. My apologies.
I will be revisiting the site later this week and will take additional photographs for
publication on the web pages above. I'll also be trying to find out where things
stand?
Regards,
Rich Green
