For really great education on cemetery restoration, attend a restoration workshops
sponsored twice each year by the Ind. Historical Society and the Department of Natural
Resources. The price is right and your time is well spent. The beginning workshop is
required before you may take the advanced workshop in the fall.
The basic workshop is in the Spring Cemetery Preservation is May 18 - 19, Southport.
Discover cemetery history and laws, as well as fundraising for and proper techniques of
cemetery.
The advance workshop will be August 24-25, Lawrence. Get your hands dirty with advanced
cemetery techniques.
