Subject: Re: [INPCRP] Getting to the INPCRP on Face book
L.A. David Cox, my partner and I
are on the third year of restoring
the Ricardson Cemetery in Tipton
County. This little cemetery has
about 100 graves and was entirely
down. As if that was not bad enough
it is located in the middle of a field and
has not had any maintenance in about
75 years. It was overgrown with trees,
briars, yucca plants and day lillies.
It took us about three weeks the first
year before we could even get into
the cemetery and about the same
amount the second. This year it
wasn't too bad. We have one more
large tablet to set and a couple of
footstone and we are done with the
stones. We have some work to do
on the yucca and day lillies that came
up this year. Then we will be done
with this cemetery. We are thinking
that this will be the last cemetery we
will be restoring and just keep the
18-19 ones we have completed up
as some are down every year. David
will be 80 and I am 76, so we want to
slow down a little.
I miss the good times we used to have
on the INPCRP.
Sincerely,
Joan Wray
