JEFF,
I have pictures from 2003 with a sidewalk around the cemetery. To bad I
didn't have a recorder when the Mayor told me AND Jack Sandlin standing under the
Tent before the Group picture how nice it will be when they get the
designation and get a Plaque erected. Politicians have a short memory if it means
stepping on another's toes. At least you have now made it known to the important
ones, so maybe when the weather "Clears up" the Historical Plaque will be
installed. Good job Jeff. Hope we don't have to go to the DHPA. I'll be up there 2
weeks from Friday, and will go by the cemetery, and maybe also visit some
officials. I used to be on speaking terms with both Jack Sandlin and the Mayor.
Best of Luck

Hi List;
Click on link below and it takes you to the DNR site with a link to

Hi List;
Below is the respose i got from Mayor Tunget and basically what I've been
getting for YEARS from Perry Township Trustee! The sidewalk has been there a
very long time but is one of the excuses Trustee Jack Sandlin has been using
for years. I honestly cannot believe this project started 2000 and the Registry
of Indiana Historical Sites and Structures awarded a this site a marker
in2002!
