Blessed are the Elderly, for they remember what we will never know.
Jack,
Can I PLEASE have your pemission to put this into the packet? Even though
you are not at the meeting, your voice will still be heard. You can explain
the situation better than I can. Please give me permission.
I am so sorry to hear about your continued heart problems. I hope they do
not postpone your surgery again. It sounds like to me you need it
immediately. I will be thinking about you and praying for you.
We appreciate every thing you are doing with our cemeteries. You have done
so much and I don't think you realize that.
Good luck and God bless,
Angela

The Nature Preserve assumed control (Nothing in writing) they did
clean out only the trees and bushes leaving what they called Wildflowers. It
supposedly was a good example of wild grass (over 5 feet tall) that had existed
there when the land in the area belonged to the Indians. The Representative

Angela:
I have not been of much assistance in your preparations for tomorrow's
hearing, but I do want to say thanks for all that you and the Henry County group is
doing, as well as everyone else that has been assisting.
My wife are expecting twins in about six weeks and I have been extremely busy
in preparation for that, so my apologies in not being of more help. However,
my thoughts and appreciation are with you.
Good luck!
Kyle
Jack,
As far as I know it never came into law. We are going to address this at the
legislative meeting. I said that we thought 1900 would be a more appropriate
date, but I like how this reads better.
What is the cemeteries name in which they allowed the burnings down there? I
need an example ASAP.
Are you still having surgery on Thurs. or can you come to Indy?

Angela:
Contact Tim Wright(a)osmre.gov who is with the IDNR Division of Surface Mining
and Reclamation at Jasonville, Indiana. He can tell you all about what coal
mining companies can and cannot do in cemeteries.
If it is a known cemetery and it can be documented, they will pull the bond
on that tract of ground and the minng company cannot touch it. They did that
for us in Knox County and saved 1 after another had already been wiped out.
Also according to him, you cannot undermine a cemetery.

Hello everyone. As you know Thursday is the Legislative meeting in Indy.
We need you to show your support by being there if at all possible. There
are several people that have worked untold hours to get a presentation ready
for this meeting, and they need us to stand behind them. There was a
speaker recently that termed our INPCRP group "THE CEMETERY PEOPLE" and
that "everyone should pay attention to them because they are a powerful
force in getting the laws changed in the State of Indiana" . Let's make
that statement true by showing our support on Thursday at the meeting.

"Show me your cemeteries, and I will tell you what kind of people you have."
Benjamin Franklin (1706 - 1790)
Hello everyone. As you know Thursday is the Legislative meeting in Indy. We need you to show your support by being there if at all possible. There are several people that have worked untold hours to get a presentation ready for this meeting, and they need us to stand behind them. There was a speaker recently that termed our INPCRP group "THE CEMETERY PEOPLE" and that "everyone should pay attention to them because they are a powerful force in getting the laws changed in the State of Indiana" . Let's make that statement true by showing our support on Thursday at the meeting.
