Pat,
I checked my photos and do not show any photos of John Dunn. I do show
photos for Samuel Williamson Dunn (1804-1884) and Susan Alma (Harrison)
Dunn 1823 - 1902.
Perhaps the library has something in their extensive collection of "Family
Files". You can contact the Owen County Library genealogy department at
this email address: genealogy(a)owenlib.org.

Subject: [INOWEN] Where Can I Find Pictures?
My Ancestors, John Dunn b. March 22, 1779 and Margaret (Karr (Carn,
Carr
b.
Kentucky,) migrated to Indiana in 1817.
John was a Judge and Margaret was a midwife. My GG Grandfather, John R.
K.
was the first white child born in the area. They were instrumental in
founding the area and lived in Washington Township. They have good
information about
them in the book, Clay and Owen Counties published in 1884, but no
pictures.
I'm hoping that since the Dunns were such prominent people in the area at
the time there might be some pictures somewhere. Does anyone here on
this list
know what societies or groups I could contact to try to find some
pictures?
TIA (thanks in advance)
Barb - GGG Granddaughter of Judge John Dunn and Margaret Karr (Karn,
Carr)
