A newly found genealogical cousin is researching her ancestor James

children to Owen Co. IN early days.
Is there any connection between the brothers William Johnson and Captain Johnson on p.
759 Owen Co. History book, and/or Lewis Johnson, son James M. Johnson? Any idea that
these were also Cherokee Indians?
Here is what I have picked up on that family, sketchy:
Lewis Johnson b 4 Mar 1807 KY; d 19 July 1882 Owen Co. IN
m1 Elizabeth Wise b 15 Apr 1815, d 18 Jan 1888 Owen Co.
IN
m27 Feb 1834 Owen Co. IN.
Children:
1. Cornelius Johnson + Sarah Scott. son Clinton.
2. James M. Johnson + Cornelia Green.
3. William H. Johnson + Sarah Merilda Fulk.
4. Matthew Johnson.
5. Mary Johnson died 1920, + Leonard B. Bigger, daughter + Thomas Arthur.
Thomas Arthur m2 Sarah Ann Bigger, son Gross Arthur.
Sarah Ann Bigger m2 Unknown Ritter.
6. Nicholas Johnson + Ann Teingate.
7. Matilda Johnson + Christopher Ooley.
Lewis Johnson m2 Anna Ooley. Children: Eliza Ann Johnson and Sarah Ann Johnson.
Looking forward to filling in the pieces of this puzzle. Thanks.
