Yes, this person is the son of Arthur Bowen who is the son of my John
Bowen (b: ca 1788, PA). There is another John Bowen who is the son
of my John Bowen (b:1827). This latter John Bowen is the brother of
Arthur Bowen.
If you'd like info on your John Bowen's family I'd be happy to share
what I have. Why don't you contact me off line and I'll email you a
large file.

I have a photograph identified by handwriting on it, as Frank Bowen. Since Nancy Bean
(Bowen)(Mrs. Levi Hicks) was my grandmother's grandmother, I'm sure that is why
this photo was in the old satchel I inherited from my father. If either or both of you
would like a scanned copy of this photo I would be glad to comply. Nancy(b 1817,
Arthur(b.1812), and John(b.?) were siblings and children of John and Eleanor(Scott)Bowen.
Where does Frank Bowen fit?
Thanks
Barb
p.s. If anyone out there has information about the parents of Levi
Hicks (b 1816), who I believe are Samuel & Agnes (Latta) Hicks, I would
appreciate hearing from you. I believe Samuel & Agnes came from Virginia.
