I have traced Grandmom's dircet line back to Peregrine White the
first
white child born in MA while still aboard the Mayflower. Peregrine's
father was William White. There was a Katherine White/Carver on the
Mayflower. I am tring to see if she was a sister to William, she is in
the will of Alexander White of England in 1599.<
Katherine and sisters Bridget (married John Robinson ) and Frances
(married Fracnces Jessop) were in Leiden when in 1611 sister Jane
married another Leiden church member, Randall Thickens. There is no
mention of a connection between these sisters and William . William's
ancestry is so far unknown. There were two William Whites in Leiden or
possibly three. Or perhaps William and wife Susanna, passengers on the
Mayflower, boarded later. The will of Alexander does not refer to a son
William. I doubt at this point you will find a connection between
Katherine and William.
