Hi Debbie, so sorry to hear about your Father. My son in law died suddenly on Mother's
day so my heart goes out to you.
Yes, death certificates are a wonderful source of information. I don't have Ancestry
right now but when I get access to it again I will be doing some searches of my own.
Have an awesome day.

Subject: [INOWEN] death certificates
Listmembers--
I would like to take a moment and let everyone just how much your well
wishes regarding my father has meant to me.
I thought that perhaps getting back to genealogy would be difficult after
loosing him-- he would be the one that I said "hey look what I found" (not
gonna go there, I will start crying)...anyway, I have utilized a research
resource pointed out by Randi Richardson regarding what is on Ancestry with
the birth and death certificates and marriage records.
I am going to make a statement that can ONLY be said in this arena as
anyone else would think I am just morose or insane....
I am having the time of my life for the past few nights going through my
FTM and searching for death certificates!! Most people would think that is
depressing but I am learning a lot...and not just about my family.
The only problem is there are SO MANY people.....
Thanks everyone for just being there....
Debbie
