Debbie:
Would it be possible for you to post this on the web site and also to
forward it to Nancee Seifert?
Nancee:
My name is Richard L. Carr. My paternal ancestry reads as follows:
Richard L. Carr, Gerald R. Carr, John E. Carr, John F. Carr, Eli Kerr (at
some point in time changed to Carr) and William Kerr.
William Kerr was a blacksmith. He married Margaret Jane Miller about 1800
in Washington County, Pennsylvania. They lived in Hanover Township,
Washington County. Their first four children were born in this township.
Then they moved to Holmes County, Ohio about 1813. They later moved to
Lafayette Township, Owen County, Indiana. He died there on March 4, 1850
and was buried there. Margaret Jane Miller Kerr died May 27; 1850 in Owen
County, Indiana.
Would anyone have any information regarding William or Jane Kerr's
parents?
Dick Carr

Hi Debbie: I've always appreciated the wonderful information you have
compiled for all of us to see.. Many of my ancestors were in Owen County,
IN
- in fact I lived not far from Spencer for about 11 years; now live in
Iowa.
I was disappointed also about some of the responses you had from those who
don't understand the time and 'love' that you've put into your website.
It
seems to be a "today attitude of the world" -- and those who appreciate
our genealogy resources need to say "thanks" every once in a while.
THANKS, Debbie - please keep your site going for those of us who want to
glean every little/precious detail you've shared with us. My Best Regards
Always, Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert at

Thanks to everyone who offered the comments on the website.
The majority of you have no problems viewing it.
The ones that do have trouble seem to have Windows 7.
However, seeing and counting the amount of people that didn't know where
it was located- or had not been there in so long they forgot where it was
or forgot about it makes me rethink it.
Perhaps it is possible that it is no longer necessary.
If the visitors are forgetting it or not visiting it, then it becomes
pointless.
This is something I need to think about.
Thanks again
Debbie
