I have pictures from the Phillips Cemetery if anyone wants to see
them. I
found a marker for John G. Long there who was my ancestor. His second wife
was Sarah Decker. They came from Tuscarawus Co., OH and stopped in
Bartholmew Co., IN for about 2 years after he acquired the Owen County
land where
they lived until their deaths. We visited the Cemetery during the winter
and
found very few markers left standing.
I think Christopher Staley, his son in law, is probably buried there. He
lived in that area prior to his disappearance around 1866! I think he
died.
