Thank you so much. The name is correctly Hudson and was spelled that way on some Indiana
records and all Texas records after the family moved there in the early 1850's but it
appears regularly as Hutson in the early years.
I don't know who the younger John Hudson is in Morgan Co. in 1840. I have no one in my
family who fits the age range.
Again my thanks,
John

records
John,
That last one I sent I guess wasn't him......as I looked under Hutson as you had said
and it pulled up 1820,30 & 40 in Owen Co. so I'm sending the 1830 and 1840 as you
had requested. As you can see one was listed as Hutson and the other as Hutton.

Subject: [INOWEN] census assistance 1830 and 1840
Owen County researchers --
I would very much appreciate it if someone with access to 1830 and 1840 census
returns for Owen County could give me the full data for John Hudson and, if they
appear heading their own households his two sons.
John Hudson (b. about 1788) and his sons
William Hudson (b. Sept 14, 1811)
Thomas Hudson (b. about 1816)
The names may also be recorded as Hutson. It possible, it would be terrific to
know the adjacent names of neighbors for John and his two sons.
Many thanks in advance for whatever assistance you can offer.
