Here's yet another WILLIAM A. BOLDON/BALDON/BALDWIN...or 2?
I'm looking for the son of THOMAS BALDWIN b. ca1760.....who was living in
Nelson Co.KY....1810-1820....the BALDWIN boys migrated to Owen Co.IN....I
found 5 BOLDONs listed on the 1830 census there....
WM. BOLDON was listed at ......1 M...20-30......1 F...20-30
I however found a WILLIAM A. BOLDON m. Emiline Pittman 12 Oct 1837 Owen
Co.IN.......
Then in 1850 I found WILLIAM A. BALDON on the census in Tipton Co. Wildcat
Twp....
Wm.A. Baldon...34......KY.....Farmer ......$1000
Emeline.............28......IN
Hannah..............11......IN
Sarah................9.........IN
James...............8.........IN
Fanny................6.........IN
Mary F...............2.........IN
Maryann.............4.........IN....these two were crossed out and changed
Margaret.............3/12....IN
================
In 1830 this Wm.A. Boldon would have been 14 yrs. old.....so he couldn't have
been the one I found on the 1830 census?? Does anyone else out there have
any answers to this question.....What family does Wm.A. Boldon belong to??
and what happened to the Wm. I found on the 1830 census?? If anyone can shed
some light on this set of Wm's I would be grateful....
Thanks so much,
