Greetings,
I am looking for information on EZEKIEL CAMPBELL and his wife JANE MODRELL
who likely lived in Owen Co. about the late 1820's into the mid 1830's.
Ezekiel may appear in the 1830 Owen Co. census under the spelling
"Camel"--unless there is another family by that name in Owen Co.
I'm told that he also appears at a Modrell estate sale in 1831 in Owen Co
[though I have not seen a copy of it, or an abstract of it].
Ezekiel's wife Jane was a daughter of GEORGE MODRELL and niece of ADAM
MODRELL who lived in Owen Co. From Owen Co., Ezekiel and Jane moved on to
McDonough Co., IL briefly, where they appear in the 1840 census, then onto
Andrew Co., MO where they spent the remainder of their lives.
I have web pages on both the Campbells and the Modrells, if anyone would
care to look at them. They are located at the URL listed below.
I appreciate any help. Thanks.
