I don't have a direct line with the McCarley's but have gained a little
information because both Courtney and Woodford Lawson married Matilda Clark,
the daughter of Joseph T. Clark and Betsy Barns Clark, which are
gr-gr-grandparents. My own Clark ancestor is Sally Ann Clark Parrish,
Matilda's sister. Many Lawsons are buried in Shiloh Cemetery. Let me know
if you would like some look ups on them. I read somewhere that the Lawsons
came from Woodford County KY. I suspect Joseph Clark may have also.
The following is all that I have for Matilda and her two Lawson brothers.

said wards -- as administrator of the estate of Courtney Lawson deceased-
said wards residing on farm with mother.
