Hi N.J. - William Head Livingston's daughter was Rachel A. Gross
born 18560100 md William J Gross 18770722 died 19450000.
The only Rachel E. Livingston I have was born in Greene Co. in 1887
daughter of Ben. L. Livingston and Rebecca Ham. I don't have any
other firm data on her. This bunch of Greene Co. Livingstons are
remotely related to me but not my direct line. They are much more
likely to be married to the Noel family due to proximity. There are
other Rachels in earlier generations of that family. There is a
Rachel A. daughter of James Livingston born about 1857 who is a good
match for your date. Someone told me she was married to Wm Gross
so I can see the sources of some of this confusion. There is also
a Rachel, daughter of the first Robert Livingston of Greene born
about 1814. Maybe Debbie Drescher can be persuaded to do a Greene
Co. WPA marriage lookup. Get her email from the Owen Co. page and
try these three Rachels.
Good luck! Julian
