1803 (possibly KY or VA according to children's census records); d. 13
September 1840 in Monroe Co, IN; bur. Bell/Anderson/Parks Cemetery, Section
19, Bloomington, Monroe Co, IN. He was my 3x great grandfather.
William RIDDLE m. Polly Mirah PARKS, 25 March 1830, Bloomington, Monroe Co,
IN. Polly Mirah PARKS, b. 29 Aug 1808, Burke Co, NC; (still trying to confirm
exact date) d. 20 March 1902, Clear Creek Twp, Monroe Co, IN; daughter of
William PARKS and Jemimah BRANCH; bur. (cannot locate place of burial, suspect
may have been in Morgan County) Polly PARKS RIDDLE, married (2) John
RIDGEWAY, and (3) John ANDERSON on 28 May 1853, in Monroe Co, IN. Children of
William RIDDLE and Polly PARKS are:
William P RIDDLE, b. 1831-1832. Possibly the William Riddle that married Nancy
M ANDERSON, 3 Oct 1850, Monroe Co, IN. If so, the 1860 Monroe Co, IN census
shows 2 children: Clarissa, age 5; Melinda,age 2. He also may be the William
T RIDDLE, of Company C, 32nd Indiana Volunteer Infantry, Civil War.
Priscilla Caroline RIDDLE, b 6 October 1835, Monroe Co, IN; d. 25 Sept 1890,
Inwood, Marshall Co, IN; (1) m. 12 May 1855 Andrew B ANDERSON; (2) m. abt
1877 George W SAULSBERRY.

George Marion RIDDLE, b. 7 September 1837, Bloomington, Monroe Co, IN; d. 1
August 1910, Inwood, Marshall Co, IN; m. 1 Feb 1857 to Esther Ann SNYDER.
Their children: Mary F; William B; Cibba Alice; George Washington (my great
grandfather); Samuel Harrison; Andrew Jackson; Carrie Elizabeth RIDDLE.

m. 29 April 1865 to (1) Sarah Jane WHISNAND OR WHISMAND; d @2 April 1915,
Rochester, Fulton Co, IN; possibly married and divorced (2) Margreat MORRIS, 1
Jan 1915. May have had a daughter Nellie RIDDLE who married Joshua SNYDER 24
Dec 1902, Marshall Co, IN
