Sharon,
Thanks for the response to the post.....
I have a WM. BOLDON/BALDWIN listed.....but I'm having trouble pinning him
down....
I have found 6 BOLDON's and 1 BALDWIN on the 1830 Owen Co. census and I've
been trying to figure out which ones are in my family line and which ones
are'nt....
I've found evidence that the Thomas I found belongs to a Baldwin family from
Scott Co.KY..Daniel Baldwin line.....so he is really the only one besides
Amos Baldwin that I've ruled out from the 1830 census.
He was living in Wayne Twp. ....
M....1..20 - 30 F...1..20 - 30

My family line migrated to Owen Co. from Nelson Co.KY....before that their
father lived in MD....
Do you know who William married?? As I have a marriage for Wm.A. Bolden to
Temperance Bush 6 Mar 1828 Owen Co.IN....also a Wm Bolden m. Emiline Truax
Pittman 1837 Owen Co.IN........this might be the same person??....but if he
is then I found him again in Tipton Co.IN 1850 census as born 1816
KY.....This Wm. would have only been 14 years old in 1830....unless the
censes for 1850 was incorrect??....So maybe the William on the Owen Co. 1830
census is another one altogether?? Hope I'm not confusing you......
So there could be a connection, but I'm just not able to say YES there is
right now?? Too many questions....
Please let's keep in touch and maybe we can unravel some of these Baldwin's .
