I have private sites for several of my lines that have been going well for a few months
now. If anyone is connected and would like to join in to 'SHARE' information,
photos, etc. please email me direct at landb(a)hrtc.net and I will send you an invitation to
join.
The sites pertain to anyone linked by blood or marriage and is willing to share photos and
information with us on there. Please do not join if you do not want to share. The
individual sites include:
Summerlot Family site: William and Charity Bolton Summerlot and all connecting lines. I
also have photos of William's brothers Dave and John J Summerlot and other family
members. William lived in the Denmark area for many years and then to Clay County. His
children were born in the Denmark, Owen Co. area, just down the road from the old Denmark
store owned by the Carr and McCreery families. They had two children; John Henry
Summerlot who married Maggie Everwine Willis (My grandparents) and Samantha who married
Joe Werner. My grandparents lived in Clay City until their deaths. William & Charity
and John and Maggie are all buried in Sink Cemetery in Clay Co. Some other names on this
site are Mishler, Burger, Everwine, Hoschstetler, Gonser, Cooprider,
Everwine Family site: John and Barbara Persinger Everwine and all connecting lines. John
was born in Germany and came here as a young boy. Barbara was born in Morgan County to
David and Christeny Persinger, who lived in the Bowling Green area, where they lived until
they died. They are buried in the Killion Cemetery according to death certificates.
Barbara and John are buried in Sink Cemetery. Their daughter Maggie Everwine Willis
Summerlot is my grandmother. Some other lines on this site are Cunningham, Haltom, Daves,
Summerlot, Cooprider, Hochstetler, Gonser,
McCreery Family site: Burton Milligan and Mary Alice Spear McCreery and all connecting
lines. The McCreery's lived in the Clay and Owen County areas. Their son Luther Paul
is my grandfather. Luther and Wilma Carr McCreery lived in Patricksburg for many years
after leaving the Coal City area. Some other lines on this site are Carr, Clingerman,
Crull, Spear, Wright, Slusher, Leichty, Weatherwax,
If you are interested in joining one or more of these sites to share with us, please email
me with names of who you are connected to. There are not many rules to stay on the sites
other than no bad photos or words are to be used. If anyone puts anything on that is not
fit it will be deleted and you will be removed from the site. You must agree to
"share" with us, and be connected to the lines in some way. Other than that,
you just enjoy what others have so kindly shared with all of us.
