I believe you can get a death certificate from the State if Indiana but you
do need to know date and place. The death certificate would have been
issued from the place of death, I would assume, Vigo County.

the hospital in Terre Haute (Vigo), but she lived in Clay County. So do I
order the death certificate from Vigo, Clay, or Owen? I think she may have
been still barely alive when arriving in the hospital in Vigo County. Even
if DOA, wouldn't the death been certified at the hospital in Vigo County? I
just don't want to send my money to the wrong place.
