Subject: CEMETERIES
Debbie ,My husband and I made a trip to Owen County over Thanksgiving to do
some genealogy work on my line .So exciting ..! We were able to locate my
GGGGGGGGrandfathers grave in Bush Cemetary His name was Jonathan Price. He
was born in 1812 in Pulaski County Kentucky. His sister Clarrisa and her
family are also buried there. Jonathans headstone was covered in
grass, mud, and weeds as it was lying on its back I would not have seen it in
the first place if I wasn't looking for it there is a flag pole next to
it,and I happened to look down and saw a piece of stone peeking out .I
hollored at my husband who meanwhile was looking for some Clarks ,to come
help me ,He came over and went to pulling on the grass and pushed some of
the weeds out he lifted up the stone and we started to brush the dirt and
mud off and the name of Jonathan Price appeared !I started to cry as I had
beenlooking for this cemetary for the longest time and if you werent a local
you would not have found it.We took a picture of it .I sure hope it comesout
good ,This cemetary is located near Coalcity .May you have the Merriest of
Holidays (Merry Christmas) and a Happy New Year!
